Make it simple, but significant...
The more you hammer, stretch or heat metal, the harder and stronger it becomes. Similar to us - we're pulled, shaped and tested to become the beautiful things we're meant to be.
I started working with metal after taking a soldering class in 2016 while living in Hawaii. My family and I were stationed there with the Marine Corps and I was constantly admiring the beautiful jewelry worn by all the sunkissed Hawaiian girls on the island. I couldn't afford to purchase these pieces, so I gave metalsmithing a chance and I was hooked from the get-go. Since then, I've been teaching myself new techniques and I love the craft more and more. What started as a hobby making jewelry for friends and family, became a full-time job in 2022. I have more time with my husband, girls and pups while meeting so many wonder people who love hannalei jewelry as much as I do.
WIth every piece of jewelry I create, my wish is that it becomes one of your staples. It's meant to be worn every day and offer the perfect amount of understated sparkle.
